bee on a borage flowerCome and get BeeWise at the Plant Swap on 18th May 2013.

Bees pollinate our food, give us a source of yummy honey and help the countryside to thrive. However, disappearing green space, chemical use and new diseases are all playing a part in the decline of the British bee population.

You can help by planting bee-friendly seeds in whatever space you have. Come and get BeeWise with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust staff from Stirley Community Farm, who will have bee-friendly seedballs and lots of information on what you can grow to help the bees.

Kids can also enjoy making some lovely labels for your bee-friendly plants.

See us at the Plant Swap
on Saturday 18th May
from 10am to 1pm
at Newsome Scout Hall.
