bee on borage flowerDo you know…

* How fast a bee can fly?

* How much honey a typical hive produces a year?

* Why the bee population is under serious threat?

If you are interested in bees and want to learn more about keeping bees and protecting our wildlife then get in touch with The Great Outdoors project on 01484 539531 and book your place on the next Bee Happy course!

But be quick the courses can be quite buzzzzzzzzy!

The next Bee Happy introduction to bee keeping course is a 6 week course running from Monday 17th November 2014 to Monday 22nd December 2014 from 1pm till 3pm in the Support to Recovery offices in Huddersfield.

The course is a fun and lighthearted introduction to ecotherapy, so participants will not only learn some basic facts about bees but you will also learn about why bees are so important to our eco-system and how important it is that we look after our environment whilst also supporting our own wellbeing.

After the course you will be invited to join the beekeeping project which Support to Recovery are running in partnership with the Huddersfield Bee Keepers Association at the Taylor Hill campus in Newsome.
