Huddersfield Network
Tuesday 24th February 2015
From 6pm to 8pm
The Coffee Kabin
37-39 Queensgate, Huddersfield HD1 2RD
This event invites speakers who work with food and growing to encourage a debate on how sustainable food and growing impacts on local communities. It’s part of a series of events which looks at place from different perspectives.
We welcome Stirley Farm (Yorkshire Wildlife Trust) based in Huddersfield, to talk through their volunteer-led project and Todmorden’s Incredible Edible, whose aim is to increase the amount of local food that’s grown and eaten in the town.
Join us for this event and note our host venue Coffee Kabin will be providing affordable healthy savory foods, please let us know if you will be requiring some, so enough can be prepared in advance.
