Stirley Food Festival – Saturday 2nd September 2023

The Stirley Food Festival is back. Come along for lots of local food and drink, including our Growing Newsome stall, plus wildlife activities and pick your own veg. Special falconry meet and greet with Wild Owl bird of prey rescue, nature face painting with Sparkle Sam, learn wild foraging skills and much more.

Bring your picnic rug or deck chair for an outdoor performance of the hugely entertaining Mikron Theatre Company’s latest play about good food and farming, and sample some local food of our own! If the weather is bad we will move indoors to the Cre8 Barn.

There will be a collection after the performance for Mikron.

Food available (£1 to £3).

Stroll around the hedgerows, fields and herb garden at Stirley Farm with local Medical Herbalist Sue Salmon, whose wealth of knowledge will show us how wild and cultivated plants provide us with a host of natural remedies to keep us fit and well throughout the year. Refreshments available.

Event charge: £3 per person.
