Growing Newsome Community allotment

Growing Newsome Community Allotment
We have a Community Allotment in Newsome for local food growers to share – please get in touch if you’d like to get involved. It’s ideal for anyone who wants a bit of support with growing their own food, or anyone who can offer advice to novice growers. By getting together, we’re all helping each other to grow our own food there. You’re welcome to come along as little or as often as you can, weekdays or weekends.

We’re looking for new volunteers

From sitting down sowing some seeds in our potting shed to doing some digging or helping with DIY tasks, there’s something to suit everyone. It’s a great way to learn and to meet people, or just to spend some quiet time outdoors.
